Diane Borromeo

         President & Founder

Diane Borromeo has years of strategic, tactical and operational experience with a wide variety of businesses, geographies and systems.

Diane has led the acquisition integration efforts for customer-facing systems for a Fortune 200 retailer. This retailer made Diane responsible for the roll-out of a greenfield B2B business across Western Europe as well as the deployment of over 20 transactional B2C and B2B eCommerce sites.

Since 2005 Diane has continued to provide senior consulting services to businesses as varied as food distribution to large pharmaceutical companies for clients such as  Office Depot,  Shire Pharmaceutical, Henry Schein,  Quaker Valley Foods, Brooks Provisions and Beef International.

Diane has led large development teams, acted in a CIO capacity, managed ERP deployments and provided strategic planning and direction for her clients.

Diane Borromeo is part of the Motion Creek team and the founder and managing partner of Borromeo Consulting Group, LLC and holds a BS in Mathematics and Economics and MBA from Widener University in Pennsylvania.

Tim Toews was Global CIO of Office Depot from 2005 to 2010, responsible for IT strategy and execution for the Fortune 200 Retailer.  Prior to that, Tim was International CIO for Office Depot and was instrumental in leading the company through some of its most pivotal transitions, including its entry into non-US markets and the launch of its B2C eCommerce business. Tim’s team also deployed one of the first transactional B2B web sites.  From 2010 to 2011, Tim served as the SVP of eCommerce leading the launch of a pure-play brand in the United States.

Prior to joining Office Depot, Tim was a partner at a retail consulting firm for 10 years.

Since 2011, Tim has been a partner with Motion Creek Consulting providing advisory and other services to a variety of companies on:

  • technology strategy,

  • platform selection,

  • omnichannel architecture,

  • RFP management and

  • organization design

Tim has senior level, across-the-board experience in B2B, B2C, multichannel, omnichannel and international management while maintaining a hands-on approach to business, operations and technology problem-solving.

Howard Flora was Systems and Logistics Project Director for Office Depot . Howard has broad and diverse business experience in a variety of managerial and project management positions in  Finance, Warehousing/Distribution, and IT, both domestically and internationally.

Howard managed system and operational integration projects in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada for Office Depot. The projects included the transition of acquired entities. Besides integration projects, Howard directed defined efforts to rationalize common product definitions across all channels, compliance with government mandates, and outsourcing activities of systems and operational resources.

Prior to his project director role, Howard held senior managerial positions in Warehousing and Distribution, IT, and Finance for Office Depot and Eastman, Inc., an acquired company.

Howard began his career with Deloitte, specializing in retail clients.
